Version 2

I’ve been mining through the mountains,
And sailing across the sea,
Fought the mobs and faced the darkness,
But there’s one thing troubling me.
They tell of creatures small and sneaky,
In the shadows where they hide,
But I’ve never seen an Endermite,
Though the legends have all tried.
Oh, Endermite, Endermite, where could you be?
They say you’re crawling ‘round the End,
But you’re just a tale to me.
Oh, Endermite, Endermite, show your face tonight,
Until I see you with my eyes,
You’re just a myth, alright.
I’ve heard the stories by the fireside,
Of those who’ve claimed they saw your eyes,
Purple and glowing, creeping near,
But I know it’s just a bunch of lies.
They say you spawn when pearls are thrown,
When the darkness falls just right,
But I’ve tossed a thousand ender pearls,
And never seen one in my sight.
Oh, Endermite, Endermite, where could you be?
They say you’re crawling ‘round the End,
But you’re just a tale to me.
Oh, Endermite, Endermite, show your face tonight,
Until I see you with my eyes,
You’re just a myth, alright.
Maybe it’s a joke the Endermen play,
Just to keep us all at bay,
Or a story told to make us fear,
What we can’t see but only hear.
So I’ll keep on searching every cave,
And digging deep through every stone,
But until I see that tiny beast,
I’ll think it’s just a tale well-known.
Some say I’m foolish, chasing dreams,
But I know I’m right, I’ve seen the proof,
Or rather, I’ve seen nothing at all,
And that’s the truth, oh that’s the truth.
Oh, Endermite, Endermite, where could you be?
They say you’re crawling ‘round the End,
But you’re just a tale to me.
Oh, Endermite, Endermite, show your face tonight,
Until I see you with my eyes,
You’re just a myth, alright.
Yeah, until I see you with my eyes,
You’re just a myth, alright.
