Lightning in a Bottle

Here I go again, drowning in the silence,
Trying to drain the ocean—guess I’ll call it defiance.
Bucket after bucket, the weight drips slow,
But the sea just laughs, like it knows.

I’ve scaled every mountain, carved out my name,
But the Void pulls me under—it’s all the same.

Stars die young—I’ve counted them all,
Deserts turn to glass, but the sands still fall.
Lightning in a bottle slips through my hands,
And iron to gold just crumbles like plans.
Fill the Void—it’s all I can do,
In this endless world, I’m still chasing you.

Chest after chest, the echoes fill the air,
Breaking down a mountain, but the weight’s still there.
I’m counting every star, they blur like my pain,
The End is a mirror, and I’m lost again.

Through the Nether flames, I barter my soul,
Searching for a portal to make me whole.

Stars die young—I’ve counted them all,
Deserts turn to glass, but the sands still fall.
Lightning in a bottle slips through my hands,
And iron to gold just crumbles like plans.
Fill the Void—it’s all I can do,
In this endless world, I’m still chasing you.

Every block I place feels heavier than before,
If I reach the stronghold, will it feel like more?
I’d climb to the sun, but it burns too bright,
And the lightning I’ve caught just dies in the night.

Stars die young—I’ve counted them all,
Deserts turn to glass, but the sands still fall.
Lightning in a bottle slips through my hands,
And iron to gold just crumbles like plans.
Fill the Void—it’s all I can do,
In this endless world, I’m still chasing you.

Drain the ocean, whisper your name,
Move a mountain, but it feels the same.
Empty the desert, climb to the sun,
The Void keeps calling, and I’m not the only one.
