Why are there so many
Blocks dyed in colors
And wool stacked in every chest?
Players keep shearing them,
Crafting and clearing them—
Rainbows they proudly express.
So we keep building and hoping and dreaming
That one day the world will agree—
Someday we’ll find it, the Rainbow Collection,
The crafters, the dreamers, and me.
Who said that every sheep
Would spawn in your biome?
They’re rare, but not out of reach.
Grind up the petals,
Smelt all the cactus—
Sixteen you’ll dye and then keep.
What’s so amazing is how wool keeps changing—
A banner, a bed, or a rug—
Someday we’ll find it, the Rainbow Collection,
Each color snug as a hug.
All of us chasing this goal,
Through jungles, and deserts, and snow…
If mobs don’t get us at night,
We’ll color the world as we go.
Have you been underground
And found some lapis?
It shines like the blue of the skies.
Smelt for the green, then
Poppy for red, and
You’ll see your collection arise.
Don’t stop the search now, we’re almost completed,
That chest full of chromatic glee!
Yes, we have found it—our Rainbow Collection—
The builders, the players, and me…
La da da dee da da do…
La da da da crafting with wool…
