Everyone seems to be settling into their own rhythm, fine-tuning a build or wandering the server to see what’s new. Just good vibes, steady progress and exploration.
Hidden Objects and…Bases?
In our hunt for the server’s hidden treasures, the “Oxidized One” has finally been spotted! TFZ tracked down the copper golem at Watchmiker’s base, tucked away among the pumpkins. He’s already been whisked away into a new secret spot on the server, so the search begins all over again. TFZ didn’t stop there, though; she also managed to use the postcard he sent and located Mossy. He’s a notorious wanderer, and we’re never quite sure where his next adventure will take him, but if anyone can keep that nomad in one place, it’s the mob mover herself.
Speaking of hidden things to uncover, a certain Humbug has been busy making secret bases within their fellow Minecrafters’ homes. These covert hideouts range from a single cozy bed where ChillWildBill can rest unnoticed, to 3 or more spaces. It seems nowhere is truly off-limits for a stealthy nap. Have you checked behind your walls or under your floorboards for squatters… I mean fellow miners and crafters lately?
The Press & The Shopping Plaza: New Builds in Town
The News Building is officially taking shape, and the facade is already looking sharp against the skyline. While it’s still technically under construction, the exterior is in place! Keep an eye out in the future for the news van tucked away in the garage, ready to roll at a moment’s notice, and the recording studio where all the latest server updates will soon be coming to you live!
Bring your diamonds and help the humble economy by visiting the new additions in the shopping district. The Stick Shop is officially open for business, and it might just win the award for the humblest item sold in the most creative way! Also, a quick note for your navigation: the Cat Cafe has moved. It is now centrally located in the shopping district, so if you hear some faint meowing while you’re running from shop to shop, that’s exactly why.
A Thief Among Us or the Ghost of Our MIA Chief?
There’s been a disturbance in the “Ember Stone.” Gizario’s discovery has always been a little volatile, reacting to attempts at mining with earthquakes and rapid and unique tree growth. It’s supposed to be off limits and yet, a block has gone missing. Who knows how many more stones or trees will sprout up out of the ground before the stolen Emberstone block is returned? Whether it was a very brave Humbug or Chief’s ghost manifesting some physical strength, someone out there has a piece of the stone that the earth itself didn’t want them to have. Sergeant Clanks has been called in to investigate the theft, but he’s coming up short on leads. With almost zero clues left behind at Gizario’s base (almost zero), it seems our thief. or our ghost, is very good at covering their tracks.
HPM Notes: Road Work Ahead
The Humble Road construction continues to move along at a steady pace. The HPM is currently busy prepping road shulkers full of all the supplies needed to finish up the paths winding around the server. To help the crew out, please make sure to mark your area with a sign so they know exactly where to stop the roads near your base. And of course, if you’re feeling industrious and want to help pave the way, feel free to reach out to our HPM ZanjoBanjo, they would love to have you help work on the roads in your neck of the woods!
