Obsidian Empire Emerges
ZanjoBanjo has been back on her signature adventuring spree, trekking across the Humbleverse with a pickaxe and a plan. Between mining for diamonds to spend at the Stick Store, she has stumbled upon so much lava that it sparked a new ambition: the creation of an Obsidian Empire. Her strategy is simple, pour some water, wait for the sizzle, and patiently mine. It’s a labor of love, but the payoff is huge. Get ready, Humbugs, because we’re about to have easy access to one of the most tedious blocks to gather in the game!
Wild (Bill) Parkour
The Dragon Egg Hunt is the kind of event that requires a bit of patience on the server, but it is always worth the wait. The rules are simple: whoever currently holds the egg builds a custom structure to hide it in. The lucky Humbug who finds the egg gets to keep that build as a prize, but then they must take on the mantle of creator and build a new hiding spot of their own.
Recently, ChillWildBill raised the bar by building a wizardly parkour course that challenged even the most seasoned Humbugs to reach the summit and capture the prize. Ultimately, it was CosmicDragon, the originator of the game and its fitting namesake, who bested the course and retrieved the egg. He’s now off to start work on a brand-new build of his own, though we might have to wait a moment while he finishes giving the rest of us much-needed parkour lessons!
Golem Lost, Golem Found
The hunt for the oxidized one has taken a turn! ZanjoBanjo hid him on the server and dropped a few helpful clues, but they proved no match for TFZ. In typical super-sleuth fashion, she tracked him down to the new area LC Stout is developing near the fishing village. Embarassingly, Stout had looked throughout her base for him and missed him entirely… I feel like we’ve heard of this happening before….
But the game is far from over. A new clue has been revealed: TFZ shared a block of resin as a hint. Since resin is such a sparsely used block, the pressure is on. Will the rest of the Humbugs find it easier to pinpoint the location this time, or will our other resident detective and HPM, ZanjoBanjo, beat everyone to the punch and find him again?
Nether Hub Safety Patrol
Spotted in the Nether: a master of farms, of mud, of wool, of gifts, and of helping every Humbug in need…it’s Xrogg! While most of our Nether Hub is glorious and passes every safety code in the book, there are still those pesky corners where mobs love to spawn and jump-scare unsuspecting travelers.
To keep us all safe, Xrogg has been hard at work laying down new floors throughout the humble tunnels. This act of service inspired this reporter to take a closer look at our transit system. Check out these finished, personalized, and unique Nether tunnels that lead straight to our Humbugs’ bases!
Future of HumbleCraft
While we are all currently in the thick of building and exploring, the first whispers of Season 2 have officially begun to circulate. From debating the perfect seed to deciding if the shopping district should be at spawn or how leadership roles might evolve, everything is on the table for discussion. We still have many months of adventure left in this season, but it’s never too early to start dreaming of what’s next
