[Snapshot] The Salty Spinner

Welcome to the first in a series where we take a deeper look into builds around the HumbleCraft server. Some builds are still being worked on, but we want to take a snapshot of where they are today. We even talk to the builder about their vision and inspiration for the build.

Welcome to The Salty Spinner!

I stumble up on this lovely build while hunting for the Oxidized One. My first impression was how inviting it felt. The warm colors and soft shape calls you in.

A quick tour of the outside was filled with delightful little details that help the build feel like it has been part of the world for a long time. I am particularly a fan of the lantern on the bars; it is a small but unique way to hang a light.

Peeking through the window you can see that the build is still in progress, but already has a quality painting on the wall.

The interior has the start of details that will be the foundation of a welcoming space. There is something creepy happening in the attic through. Maybe this build is not what I think.

This build is looking good from every angle. It was the view from the sea that originally drew me in.

Interview with Stout

Chief: Hey! I feel like this build was hiding on the other side of your fishing village. What was your vision for this build when you started? Where do you think you will be taking it next?

Stout: It began as a windmill to harvest and store village crops. It ended as a coastal multi-department alchemy facility. Fishing hasn’t been as lucrative as we thought it would be, too so we’re branching out.
