What are common questions about this SMP from members and non-members. [Need a better intro here]

General & Getting Started

HumbleCraft SMP is a community-driven Minecraft Survival Multiplayer server focused on cooperation, friendly gameplay, and layered world lore. It’s designed to be a space where players build together, explore together, and occasionally pretend we totally meant for that creeper to improve the landscaping.

In short: peaceful sandbox environment… with just enough chaos to keep things interesting.

To join HumbleCraft, check the HumbleCraft SMP page on the website for current connection info and any joining requirements (such as whitelisting or application rules).

Yes, there are steps. No, they’re not a secret puzzle dungeon. We promise.

The server is a Bedrock Realm-style community.

So yes — that means you can join from your console while someone else joins from their phone while another person swears their controller drift isn’t their fault.

Many community SMPs use a whitelist to prevent griefing and make sure players understand the rules. Confirm on the server’s info/FAQ post before joining.

It’s less “secret society” and more “please don’t set spawn on fire.”

Gameplay & Rules

Generally, you should:

  • Respect other players and their builds.
  • No griefing or stealing another player’s items or structures.

If you didn’t mine it, build it, or trade for it… it’s not yours. Revolutionary concept, we know.

Yes — as long as your build doesn’t block spawn areas or violate server rules (no offensive builds, no griefing).

The spirit of HumbleCraft is collaboration, not chaos…
Okay, maybe a little chaos. But the fun kind. Not the “why is there lava in the shopping district?” kind.

No — HumbleCraft is built around cooperation, and griefing (destroying or stealing) isn’t allowed.

If you want hardcore anarchy, that’s a different server.
Here we build empires and then politely compliment each other’s roof designs.

Currently, HumbleCraft is completely vanilla.

That means if something breaks… it was us. Not a plugin. Not a mod. Just good old-fashioned Minecraft physics reminding us who’s boss.

If that ever changes, it’ll be clearly documented in the server’s info posts.

Community & Interaction

Yes — HumbleCraft has a Discord where players coordinate builds, events, and help each other.

Other social groups are in the works. We’re growing. Slowly. Like a well-lit wheat farm.

Ask on Discord or in-game chat — veteran players and leaders are usually happy to assist.

If no one answers immediately, it’s not personal. Someone is probably mid-redstone panic.

Leadership roles (like Project Manager or shopping district coordinator) usually come from consistent contributions and positive involvement.

If you’re active, helpful, and don’t secretly hoard all the diamonds… you’re already halfway there.

World & Events

Yes — HumbleCraft runs ongoing goals, seasonal activities, and community events (music disc hunts, build challenges, lore celebrations, etc.).

Some are structured.
Some are organized.
Some accidentally become lore.

Coordinates and directions are often shared in news posts, Excel sheets, or Discord.

Yes, there are spreadsheets.
Yes, this is serious business.

You can also just ask in chat — wandering into someone’s megabase uninvited is… less ideal.

Miscellaneous

Temporary outages happen. Check Discord for updates.

If it’s persistent, it may be maintenance.
Or Mercury might be in retrograde.
Hard to say.

Great ideas are always welcome! Submit them in the Discord suggestion channels or message server leadership directly.

We may not implement every idea… but we absolutely will overanalyze it in a friendly way.
